These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered members, and participants in group sessions or collaborative programmes. Your continued use of the service constitutes ongoing acceptance of any updates to these terms.

2. Description of Services

Gowumuu provides a digital platform focused on financial data integration and synchronisation, delivered through structured group-based online services. These services include collaborative sessions, facilitated group programmes, data tools, and related support resources. The platform is designed to support collective interaction, experience exchange, and goal achievement through a structured work process.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice where practicable.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services. By agreeing to these terms, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. Use of the platform on behalf of an organisation requires that the individual accepting these terms has authority to bind that organisation.

4. Account Registration and Security

4.1 Account Creation

Certain features of our platform require you to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account details up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4.2 Credentials and Access

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your account access with any third party. You agree to notify us immediately at help@gowumuu.com if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account or any security breach.

4.3 Account Termination by User

You may close your account at any time by contacting our support team. Closure does not automatically entitle you to a refund of any fees paid unless otherwise stated in a separate agreement.

5. Permitted Use

You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not use the service to:

Violate any applicable law or regulation
Transmit unsolicited commercial communications
Upload or distribute malicious code, viruses, or harmful software
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
Collect or harvest data about other users without their consent
Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
Use the service in any manner that could damage, overburden, or impair our systems

6. Group Sessions and Collaborative Features

6.1 Participation Standards

Our platform facilitates group-based programmes and collaborative sessions. All participants are expected to engage respectfully and constructively. Disruptive, abusive, or harmful behaviour during sessions is prohibited and may result in immediate removal from a session and suspension of your account.

6.2 Shared Responsibility

In group environments, participants may share professional insights, experiences, and data. You acknowledge that the quality of outcomes from group sessions depends in part on the contribution and conduct of all participants. Gowumuu does not guarantee specific outcomes from participation in any group programme.

6.3 Recording and Confidentiality

Sessions may be recorded for quality, training, or service improvement purposes. Where recording takes place, participants will be informed in advance. You must not record, distribute, or reproduce session content without explicit written permission from Gowumuu and, where applicable, other participants.

7. Financial Data and Integration Services

Where the platform provides tools for financial data integration and synchronisation, you are responsible for ensuring that any data you submit, connect, or synchronise is accurate and that you have the right to use and share that data through our platform. Gowumuu processes such data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not provide regulated financial advice, and nothing on the platform constitutes investment, tax, or legal guidance.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Content

All content, materials, software, design elements, and resources made available through the platform are the property of Gowumuu or its licensors. Nothing in these terms grants you any ownership rights over our intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent.

8.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the platform. By submitting content, you grant Gowumuu a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, process, and display that content solely to the extent necessary to provide the service. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this licence.

8.3 Feedback

If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback regarding our services, you agree that we may use such feedback without restriction and without any obligation to you.

9. Fees and Payment

Certain services are provided on a paid basis. Fees, billing cycles, and payment terms are set out at the point of purchase or in a separate service agreement. All fees are stated inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes as indicated at checkout. Failure to make payment may result in suspension or termination of your access. We reserve the right to revise our pricing with reasonable advance notice.

10. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation and refund eligibility depend on the specific service or programme purchased. Unless otherwise stated in writing at the time of purchase, fees for completed sessions or programme access already provided are non-refundable. Our platform may integrate with or link to third-party services, tools, or websites. These integrations are provided for convenience. Gowumuu does not endorse and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or reliability of any third-party service. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and conditions.

12. Disclaimers

The platform and all services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. We make no representations regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any information or tools provided through the platform for any particular purpose.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Gowumuu and its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of business opportunity. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to these terms or the service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Gowumuu and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

15. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending a notification to the email address associated with your account. Your continued use of the service after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop using the service.

16. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at our discretion if we determine that you have violated these terms, engaged in conduct harmful to other users or to the platform, or for any other legitimate operational reason. Where feasible, we will provide advance notice. Upon termination, your right to access the service ceases immediately. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

17. Governing Terms

These Terms of Use represent the entire agreement between you and Gowumuu with respect to your use of the service and supersede all prior agreements, representations, or understandings. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
